Korean Family Law Clinics

KAFSC hosts Korean family law clinics the first 3 Wednesday afternoons of every month in collaboration with the Asian Pacific American Law Center and Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles.  For any community member with a family law issue (such as divorce, child custody, and/or domestic violence), KAFSC will arrange a free meeting with a Korean speaking attorney who can provide legal consultation, advice, and in some cases representation in their court cases.  Services are by appointment only.

Consumer Rights Advocacy Talkline

Experiencing deception or fraud can be a frightening predicament for the unprepared. Our Korean- American clients face additional hurdles due to their limited English to seek assistance and amend the situation. KAFSC’s bilingual talkline specialists are here to provide free support and referral services to those who are in such situations. If you have a consumer rights issue and would like our assistance, please call (213) 389-6755 x 113.

Food Stamps Enrollment Assistance
The food stamps program is a government-assistance program that aids low-income families purchase essential, nutritional foods. KAFSC are willing to assist Korean clients in filling out  paperworks and obtaining the necessary documentation to apply for food stamps.
